Modern Times, Technology and Cinchers
Modern times for today’s fast moving technology, wearing clothes that reflect this can only be now, as time stands still for no man/woman. Who doesn’t want to look stylish and fashionable at any age? We now live in an ageless society where the older you are the younger you become!
My waist cinchers where developed due to my fascination for sci-fi and futurism. The waist is the most important part of my range as this is the central focus of the body, to show the ideal hour glass which most women already have naturally.
Growing up as a young girl there was always creativity around me in one way or another. My youngest uncle (on my mother’s side) had a passion for ‘sci-fi’ comics and he would often relate these stories to us young kids whenever we spent time at my grandparents house (which we often did as it was the place to be, growing up). We were like the Walton’s, we never ever bought toys there to play with, and we never needed to. We just used our imagination, always finding something to do around the big house or just outside the front door and it was always fun. The stories my uncle told often enlightened me, as they were very clever and totally captured your imagination!
My interest in sci-fi and fantasy grew as I watched movies intently, and seeing the bigger picture ‘what did it all mean’ our future. If I’m honest they weren’t far off at all. Who’d have thought, after the first black and white silent movies by Charlie Chaplin and Harold Lloyd would later become films like the Matrix, Terminator and Avatar!
